By integrating sensors and databases across previously disconnected systems, Senseware aims to provide unified visibility that saves critical time during crisis scenarios. Fire crews could instantly access accurate floorplans with sensor data overlayed, and HVAC systems could automatically adjust to contain hazards.
Transitioning from Healthcare IoT Breakthroughs
Senseware’s two scientist-founders brought significant expertise from healthcare applications of IoT and sensor technology. Dr. Almomen herself has pioneered sensor research to diagnose and monitor conditions like Parkinson’s disease.
“We know the power of IoT to transform analytics and decision making,” said Dr. Almomen. “Now we hope to translate those lessons to create smarter, safer buildings.”
Rapid Growth Fueled by Industry Validation
Since their launch, Senseware has achieved meteoric growth and industry recognition. The startup has secured over $13 million in funding along with multiple awards. And they already support over 100 million square feet of real estate assets for prominent customers like Oxford Properties, Publix and Avison Young.
